Reuben Pizza Recipe: Bold, Delicious, Unforgettable!

This Reuben pizza recipe gives you the awesome blend of the classic Reuben sandwich elements – corned beef, cheese, and tangy sauerkraut – crafted into a mouthwatering pizza that’s as satisfying as it is unique. Not only does the sauerkraut add a gut-friendly boost, it also brings a zesty kick that’s not usually found on your average slice of pizza.

I’ve made this pizza on my Ooni for family Friday pizza night’s but, have also done it up for a more special ocassion when I wanted a unique pizza to impress.

Any time it’s pizza night and I’ve got corned beef leftovers in the fridge, I’m making this one! If you love a good Reuben Sandwich, you really can’t go wrong with adding all the same ingredients on top of a good quality pizza dough and cooking it in your Ooni.

  • Total Time: 6 mins
  • Yield: 1 pizza 1x

Ingredients

Units Scale

1 fresh pizza dough (I usually use Ooni’s Quick Dough Recipe)

1/4 cup pizza sauce

2 cups shredded cheese (Swiss is great but, any will do)

1/2 cup sliced corned beef

1/4 cup sauerkraut, drained

American mustard, to top

Instructions

1. Stretch out your pizza dough (we follow Ooni’s instructions to do this).

2. Spread pizza sauce over base. Sprinkle over shredded cheese. Arrange corned beef evenly across the pizza. Add sauerkraut to finish. Then, using a squeezy bottle, swirl American mustard over the top.

3. Bake for 60 seconds in your Ooni pizza oven of choice.

Notes

Although Ooni is our favorite pizza oven, you can make this Reuben Pizza recipe on any pizza oven, in your regular indoor oven, or even on a barbecue set up to do so.

Dill pickles are an excellent addition to this pizza if you’re a fan.

Although Reuben sandwiches are typically made with Swiss cheese, we have used any type of pizza cheese as well and it’s worked out just fine.
